I want to share with you that caring about others’ opinions was by far the hardest thing I had to give up, but the difference it made in my business and life was remarkable.

I worried that people would judge me and wouldn’t like me anymore once I put myself out there as a luxury brand.

Here’s the truth: regardless of what you do, you will be judged. You can be the most beautiful rose, and there still will be people who don’t like roses. It’s not your job to become a tulip so that you will be liked by other people. It’s your job to be the most rosy flower you can be. If you are afraid of other people’s rejection of who you are, you are actually rejecting yourself.
