I was a chartered accountant in business advisory for almost 10 years… and after that I launched my health coaching program, money mindset program... but now I am living my purpose dreams -- owning my branding studio, in my dream body shape, in a loving relationship with my soulmate partner, and helping others create their beautiful life filled with freedom!
 
I’ve learned that finding your purpose, manifest your desires - body, relationship, business, income is not about finding the specific paths... It’s about embodying the up-level version of you and it’s a full-on sensory experience.
 
If you want to attract whatever you desire, you cannot achieve that by standing in the same place you have been.. You need to drop the old like an old snakeskin.
 
And It’s so liberating and free to become your next level, your full expression unapologetically - the ability to ask for what you desire without self judgment or worry about what others might think.

And only from there, you can get the clarity and the next aligned action will come to you.

That Magic Lives WITHIN You

Being a female entrepreneur is a beautiful journey. But it is not always easy.  I remember the days I just wanted to curl up, cry, and give up. 

 You know that feeling when you are trying everything to build your business but nothing seems to work?

You could be doing all the right things, creating opt-ins, Facebook ads, setting up funnels, doing webinars…….and reading every personal development book under the sun. Yet nothing takes off in your business. In fact, instead of making 5 or 6 figures as all those programs promised, you just end up feeling guilty and losing confidence in yourself. And if you are anything like me, you start to wonder “what’s wrong with me. These strategies seem to be working for everyone else. What am I missing?”

I felt this way in my own business for two years. I worked so hard and invested in so many things... But it wasn’t until I figured out one thing that was missing that things changed. Once I had that magical missing piece, my whole business transformed. I started to attract my ideal clients and raving fans. But more importantly than anything else, I finally felt good enough and confident to show up in the world with my creative talents after years of feeling like I was not good enough and I had to be a "good girl" to be liked and accepted by others.

I grew up being a “good girl” for my parents, playing the good “successful” daughter, studying at the top university, and then living in the “successful” corporate world. But that life was never meant for me. Every morning from my office window I would look up at the blue sky, wishing I could grow wings and fly. Every morning I longed for something else. A different world. A beautiful world. One where there was freedom, inside and out. 

Eventually, in 2010 I packed my bags, left my hometown Shanghai, and moved to Australia by myself hoping the world would be different.  It wasn’t (pause) because I was the same. Every day in my office cubicle, I continued playing the good girl. I kept my head down and I worked hard. I played it safe, but deep down I still dreamt of something else.

My life was forever changed when I was introduced to the wonderful world of women entrepreneurs at a business networking event. I saw glimpses of confident beautiful women who were running their own business with a lifestyle to match. It was like getting a blue Tiffany box from the Universe. I saw the beauty and luxury I was looking for. The beauty of doing the things I love, the luxury of freedom. 

I thought to myself (pause) this time things will be different. But it still wasn’t. Because even in this new role of being an entrepreneur, I still found myself trying to be a “good girl”. I followed other people’s business strategies, worked hard, and doing all the things I was told I “should” do …but nothing took off.

I felt like the freedom and the beautiful world I wanted were so close and yet I just couldn’t quite reach them. I felt tired and exhausted. The burden of shame, guilt, unworthiness, and loneliness was too hard to bear. I cried in front of my dream board… I wondered (pause) what’s wrong with me…What should I do?

But what if there’s no “should”? What if I was to show them who I truly am? Would they laugh at me or reject me?

It was then I understood I was actually rejecting myself…. What if “standing out” just means “being myself”? What if I shine as ME? 

So what’s this magical thing that changes everything? It doesn’t come in a magical wand. It isn't the latest business strategy or tactics. It actually comes from YOU. It's who we are. It’s our personal brand. 

It starts within. It begins with what makes you YOU. Because it’s who YOU are that inspires other people to say yes to who THEY are. It’s who you are that creates connection and trust with your audience. It’s who YOU are that attracts your ideal clients and tribe.

You have the magic!

What do you want your future to look like? What are your dreams? Do you still believe in the magic?

Whatever you are called to do, that is your calling. Don’t overthink it. Don’t wait for permission. Just say YES. Most people are waiting for a step-by-step plan before they take the first step. But the Universe’s magic doesn’t work like that. It takes faith and courage to answer the calls of your soul. And that’s why most people don’t do it. But you are not most people.

You are in exactly the right place to answer your calling now. And you do NOT need permission from anyone else.

I give myself permission to have exactly what I want.

Let your yes easily becomes a yes for what’s aligned and your no unapologetically becomes a no for what isn’t exactly what you want. 

When we stop trying to do what we think we need to do, or are supposed to do, and just come back to giving ourselves permission to have exactly what we actually want and called to do-- the entire abundant world opens for us.

When you give yourself exactly what you want, your life, everyone’s life, the entire world gets better.

Your true desires and dreams are in alignment with the highest good of all, you have the entire universe on your side when you’ll just give yourself permission to follow your heart and have exactly what you want.

Then surrender... You don’t need to know the whole plan. You don’t even need to know where it is leading. You just need to take the next step. No one has ever had the complete, perfect plan. 

Surrender is NOT giving up or sitting on your couch with your vision board hoping it will come true magically. It’s about releasing all the fear and frustration and then stay in the place of flow and trust to create, show up, sell and receive from.

Trust your intuition.

Trust what is for you won't miss you.

Trust yourself when doubt creeps in.

Trust that things will get better.

Trust failure as a set up for greater success.

Trust your heart even when you can't hear it beat.

Trust any decision you make because you made it.

Trust you are missed in every space you're not in.

Trust your love to be the best love ever given.

Trust you are always blooming. always blooming.

So, beautiful…

You didn’t choose the wrong path

Did you ever talk to yourself: I chose the wrong path. I wasted so much of my time. I should have chosen/started …. years ago, it’s too late now. What if I had chosen a different path...
 
I remember when I started my entrepreneurship journey, these little voices popped into my head from time to time. “Why I wasted all those years working 9-5 at big accountancy firms? I have wasted so much time and chosen the wrong path… if I had started my business years ago, things would be totally different now…”
 
But now looking back, I am much wiser to know that things that we might look at as the wrong path, aren’t the wrong path at all – they are the path. Those experiences are guiding us to exactly where we are meant to be.
 
If I can go back and tell my younger self at that time, I will say to her “No you didn’t, you are exactly where you are meant to be. You didn’t choose the wrong path, because there is no wrong path, we each only have one.”
 
There is no point in spending so much time and energy talking about it, regretting our choices … Instead, trust that our path has led us here to this very moment. Right now you are exactly where you need to be. And start doing something today to allow us to align a little bit closer to our true self.  It’s not too late. It’s never been too late.
 
All your previous experiences make you who you are, make your personal brand unique, make your tribe attracted to you. It’s up to us if we are paying attention to what we are being shown along the way, and discover the hidden treasures that are exactly what we required to live our purpose and serve others we are meant to help.

In case you don’t know or haven’t heard about the discovery of African Diamonds, here is the story as retold by the author and speaker named “Phil Callaway”.

"During the years when diamonds were first being discovered in Africa, a farmer was intrigued by the promise of great wealth. Only one thing stood in his way. His farm had to be sold before he could set off in search of the diamonds that would make him a wealthy man. At last the deal was done and he was free. Free to pursue his dream.

The search was long and painful. Trekking mile after weary mile across deserts and plains, through jungles and mountain passes, the farmer searched for the elusive diamonds. But none could be found.

Finally, penniless, sick, and utterly depressed, he took his own life by throwing himself into a raging river.

Back home, the man who had bought the farm carefully tilled the land. One day as he was planting a crop, he came across a strange-looking stone. Carrying it to the farmhouse, he placed it on the mantel.

A visitor to the farmer’s home saw the unusual stone over the fireplace, examined it, then turned to the new owner of the farm and said, “You have found one of the largest diamonds ever known to man.” Further investigation revealed that the entire farm was literally covered with similar magnificent stones. The farm sold by the first farmer turned out to be one of the richest, most productive diamond mines in the world.

One hundred years ago, Dr. Russell Herman Conwell traveled the United States telling and retelling this story. One hundred years later, we still need to hear it. You see, just like that farmer, too few of us take the time to investigate and polish what we already have. In our disappointment with the way things are, in our quest to get ahead, we fail to recognize the wealth in our own backyard. And we end up walking over untold riches every day."

You’ve been on the right path all along. The Universe is always guiding us, it is up to us to do the rest.

Sign your own permission slip

Hello Beautiful, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You know the feeling when you go through your Instagram and suddenly feel jealous of someone’s life/business/beauty… We all have those moments. And the beautiful thing about those moments is that it tells us the desires in our hearts. We want what they have but most of the time we don’t give ourselves permission to have it. 

When we have the desire to pursue/learn/do/explore/experience/have something, it is because there is something within us that is calling us to do so. We desire it because it brings us the feelings we desire - joy, freedom, love, etc..

By honouring our desires we are nudged explore, we are honouring our authentic self and we are aligning to our own individual authentic calling (a calling does not have to be job/career/money-making based). Everybody has her own authentic calling that brings joy to themselves, which in turn brings joy to others.

If you’re feeling jealous, you are being called. It’s your soul doing the nudging. She is asking you to step closer to your authentic self so that you can be in alignment and experience more joy, fun, freedom, abundance, love. Honouring it and stepping into our authentic self is stepping into our personal brand power.

Give yourself permission today. We were all born manifestors, let’s revisit the magic of that.

Dear Self,

I give you permission to follow your heart and do the thing that someone once told you couldn’t.

I give you permission to spend time just playing and having fun without feeling guilty that you ‘should’ be doing something else.

I give you permission to pursue something and being okay with not being good at something at the start. No one is good at something at the start. And you don’t need a certificate to start. 

I give you permission to give something a go and to see if you like it. If you don’t, it’s ok to move on to something else without guilt. You will never know if you never try it. 

I give you permission to trust yourself.

Go creatively. Go intuitively. Enjoy it. Pursue it. Immerse in it. Own it.

When you google yourself, what do you see?

It has never been more important than now to have a personal brand online. When people meet you or hear of you, guess what they do? You got it, they google you!

When you google yourself, what do you see? You really should google your name and take a look. Is this what you want people to see?

You are in charge of this, you can create a digital footprint that you are proud of. And the first step is to get clarity.

Think of yourself as already BEING the women that you aspire to be. Who are you aspiring to be? What dreams are you working towards?

Do you aspire to be a woman who wakes up and loves what she does for a living every day? Travels often, spiritually secured, and financially stable? …

If you don’t yet have a vision yet, then let it be your purpose to become the best version of yourself:

Rise with gratitude and the intention of love and self-care.

Take a sensual breath, fully, strongly, and deeply.

Replace an inherited belief with a new, positive belief.

Get to know yourself again.

Affirm that happiness and love, and growth, all live in this every moment.

And remember:

Where you are going, and who you are becoming is for you to decide. 

Grab some tea, coffee, or sparkingly water, and host a journal session for yourself on the questions to clarity:

Be the designer of your life

How are you? I haven't been in touch for a while.

I have taken more time for myself. By giving the time my soul needs, I’ve discovered more space to be, do, create and experience.

I was listening to music.

I was dancing.

I was watching every moment of the sunset in the sky.

I was having expansive conversations, and consciously choosing who I communicate with.

I was planting seeds.

I was creating my own little piece of art.

I was serving my entrepreneurial community.

I was collaborating and giving back to our community.

I was building my social enterprise project.

I was meditating and journaling.

I was giving gratitude.

I was learning and having fun.

I was appreciating the beauty of my flower.

What a gift this is, to simply be. I invite you into that presence.

Don’t let a lockdown tell you your life is now stalled. It’s not. It requires adjustment and acceptance. But it doesn’t mean there isn’t space for play, joy, learning, helping make others smile, and yes, still falling in love, with someone special, and more importantly, with yourself and your life.

Ten years ago I was 25, working as a manager in one of the big 4 global accounting firms in Shanghai. In the past decade, I moved to Melbourne Australia, completed my master degree, started my side hustle, quitted my 9-5 job, have my own branding studio and my amazing team, bought my lovely apartment in one of the best suburbs in Melbourne, travelled to different places in the world and invested in myself's growth, stayed and studied fashion course in Paris, released extra weight and maintained my sexy fit turned on body, met my soul mate and have a beautiful relationship, have my soul sisters and close friends who get me... and have you, my tribe and clients, that I adore...

My heart is full of gratitude and I know that our heart desires can come true if you allow yourself to receive them.

How to Find Out Your Sweet Spot Business Idea

Want to start a side hustle but don’t know how to choose the business idea that can turn your unique gifts, talents and personality into your dream business?

Having been through the process of building my side hustle and eventually left my corporate job, I would love to share with you the steps I took to find out my sweet spot business idea, which I have now built into a full-time business supporting the lifestyle I desire.

I hope it will give you some inspirations to find out your sweet spot so that you can have a much clearer vision of your path and it will become easier to move from doubt and fear into confidence and action.

Step 1.    Authenticity and Alignment

In order to find out the business idea that reflects who you are and fuels your desires and make your heart sing, you need to have the solid foundation of authenticity and alignment. Really take a moment to connect with your emotions around why you want to start a side hustle and go into business, because it’s this emotional juice that’s going to fuel your actions, energise your message and allow you to step forward as the face and voice of your business and brand.

For example, here are my answers:

My business exists to help female entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality - one brand at a time and create soul-stirring beauty in their brand and life.

My business allows me to wake up every day with passion and excitement, do what lights me up and utilise my full potential and talents; have the flexibility and freedom to do it whenever and wherever I want; surround myself with like-minded talented and successful beautiful people.

If I build up my dream business, I’ll be working for myself with complete freedom, loving my work, and helping others create a brand and lifestyle they love. I’ll have combined all the things I love and believe in into my business and brand.

If I don’t DON’T start my business, I will have to stay at a 9-5 job and work for someone else. I’ll be working hard to build someone else’s dream, instead of creating it for myself. 

Step 2.    The Hidden Treasure

Put on your detective hat and start looking for the clues that will lead you to your sweet spot business idea. Everything in your life has prepared you perfectly to create the business you most want. Once you start mining the treasure, you’ll discover how the design of your life has led you to the specific industry and audience you’re most inspired to serve, and you’ll tap into a deep well of inspiration and purpose that motivate you to move forward.

Step 3.   Strengths and Passions

Your strengths and passions are what will guide you to your sweet spot business idea. There are lots of exercises that can help you uncover your zone of genius, or the hidden strengths and skill you may not realize you have and explore how to turn them into a profitable business idea. You can also ask the people in your life what they see in you as sometimes it’s just impossible to see yourself clearly. Another way to get insight is through personality test. Step 4.    The Sweet Spot

Your sweet spot business idea is the perfect intersection of what you love, what you are good at and what the world needs. Your business idea must solve a very specific and acknowledged market need and your target clients are willing to pay to have their problem solved. You can use your strengths to help them solve the problem and you enjoy doing that.

Step 5.    Test Test Test

You now have a great idea, and you’re ready to dive into the side hustle. But, are you sure your idea is viable? Before investing and building all your brand assets, you need to test your idea’s true potential and get feedback from the market.

Good luck, hustler. As soon as you start stepping into your new entrepreneur identity and building your dream side hustle business, you’ll realize doubt and fear are a normal part of the process. Action is the key so that you won’t let these emotions paralyze you.
