Let's talk about the 3 myths about luxury branding that are not true and are holding you back from attracting high-quality clients and commanding higher prices for your offerings.

The more I talk to female coaches and founders,  the more it becomes evident that so many people have these false beliefs. And when you believe this, what happens is that you are stuck at the current income level and attract the same clients, and never establish your business as the top 1% in your field and land high-ticket clients.

 
 

Myth 1: Luxury Branding Is Only for Established Businesses

You have probably heard people say that luxury branding is exclusively reserved for well-established businesses with long-standing reputations and extensive resources. 

When you believe this, you missed the opportunity of using luxury branding for your business to create a perception of exclusivity, superior quality, and exceptional experiences and position yourself as a luxury brand and effectively sell high-ticket offers.

Myth 2: Luxury Branding Is All About Price

Something else I see people do is that they just raise their prices in order to position themselves as a luxury brand and sell high-ticket offers.

When you just raise your price and hope to attract high-end clients, you missed the big part of luxury branding, which goes beyond the price tag and delves into the intrinsic and intangible elements that make a brand stand out. While luxury offerings may command premium prices, the value lies in the entire brand experience and the perception of exclusivity, status and wealth, rather than price alone.

Myth 3: People won’t be able to afford it

This may be the worst one. This is when you believe that people won’t be able to afford it if you position yourself as a luxury brand and charge premium pricing. So you downgraded yourself from a luxury brand to a friendly expert instead.

The truth is there’s Kmart and there’s Louis Vuitton in every niche and industry. Billionaires are not the only ones who buy luxury brands. Millionaires are not the only ones who buy luxury brands. Celebrities are not the only ones who buy luxury brands. You can find people buy fancy cars and watches and handbags every day.

For your luxury offers, it is not targeted towards the mass market, we are only looking for a small number of people to buy to get you multi-6 figures or 7-figure business.

The Feminine Way

The feminine way is like gardening and attracting. Just like when you build your beautiful garden full of blooming flowers, the bees naturally come. You are not forcing or convincing people into your work; instead, you create your authority and attraction through your brand positioning, image and content, and receive with your feminine energy.

It focuses on creating resonance through your luxury brand that draws the clients to you who are desiring what you are offering. It is based on feminine energetics because when we are in our feminine, we're naturally creating resonance and attracting through our energy, brand and content we put out there.

For example, my luxury branding boutique, there’s no discount. When is the last time you see Chanel or Dior have a discount sale in their boutique stores? I don’t think so. My high-paying clients receive a premium experience, gifts, surprises, and bonuses. 

If you want to attract more affluent, high-paying customers and clients to your business, you need to be aware of what language to use and not use throughout your brand presence and content pieces. 

For example, most high-end buyers will assume your product or service is of lesser quality if you use the word “Free” too much. Luxury clients appreciate the exclusivity and status associated with premium brands. If your product or service is available to everyone, it’s not appealing to them. They buy and invest in more than the product and service itself. They buy and invest in the feeling your product and service give them and the experience.

Luxury clients prioritize quality above all else. They expect products and services that exceed their expectations and provide an elevated experience. A premium brand image signals your commitment to exceptional quality, assuring luxury clients that their investment in your business will be worthwhile. They will form their first impression within the first 7 seconds when they see your brand image and presence. If your brand image doesn’t signal premium quality this one time your potential affluent client sees it, they’re going to be repelled by it and will see your business and service as not high-end.

When my high-end clients come to me, one of the first things they mention to me all the time is my brand image and online presence exudes and screams luxury and premium and that’s exactly what they are seeking. 

If you neglect to adopt a luxury brand strategy and invest in a premium brand image and messaging that attracts luxury clients, you run the risk of repelling this valuable client base. Luxury branding and positioning is about changing the lenses of how people see you. Without the right perception, you may struggle to command higher price points and position yourself as the preferred choice for discerning high-paying clients. 

In every industry and niche, there’s “K-Mart” brand and there’s “Chanel” brand. It’s up to you which one you want to be. And there’s actually more competition in the “K-Mart” level as you are competing on price like a commodity. 

When you elevate the perceived value of your brand and become the category of one, the only competition is you. Your clients will see you as a symbol of excellence and aspiration and they will be willing to pay a premium price because they perceive your offerings to be superior and exclusive.

I shared my business journey on my IG story last week and got replies saying “Thank you for sharing your story. I needed to hear this today.” 

So for those of you that don’t know my story, I grew up being a “good girl” for my parents and then played the good ‘successful’ daughter, living in the ‘successful’ corporate world as an adult, but that life was never meant for me. 

I packed my bags, left my hometown, and moved to another country, hoping the world would be different.  It wasn’t. Because I was the same. Every day, in my office cubicle, I continued playing the good girl. I kept my head down, I worked hard. I played safe, but deep down I longed for something different.

At that time every morning from my office window, I would look up at the brilliant sky wishing I could grow wings and fly. Every morning I longed for something else. A different world. A beautiful world. Where there was freedom, beauty and luxury.

My life was forever changed when I was introduced to the wonderful world of women entrepreneurs at a business networking event. I saw glimpses of confident, charismatic, beautiful wise women running their own businesses with a lifestyle to match. It was like getting a Tiffany box from the Universe. My heart opened, my eyes opened, my mind opened and I saw the beauty I was looking for. I was enlightened. I had a choice.I was no longer willing to accept my desires as just a daydream.  I knew deep inside I was meant for more. So I started my business as a side hustle and decided to go for it. 

But it wasn't all smooth sailing, I quickly realised the mistake of still “trying to be a good girl” in the business world. 

I followed what other people are doing, signing program after program trying to get my hands on the gold business strategy that promised 6 figures months. I was so desperate to find out the big marketing secret that I would literally throw money at all the business consultants coming my way and claiming they had what I was missing.

After spending multi-5 figures and my business still didn’t take off as I wanted, I felt tired, exhausted in striving to reach it … The burden of guilt was too hard to bear. It was at this time when I had to make a pivotal decision: keep playing “good girl” identity or uplevel my game instead. 

From here things started to shift. I started to choose my mentor as my support rather than looking for the secret or someone to fix my missing piece. I started to work with mentors on my identity, vibration and energy. I finally unapologetically owned my desire for luxury, instead of worrying what people would think of me and I would be judged me as shallow and superficial. 

And today, here I am running my luxury branding boutique, selling my luxury offers with elegance and ease, and working with high-quality dream clients. 

But more importantly than that, I am now fully aligned with the version of me that truly embodies the luxury, beauty and freedom I was seeking.  I attract at the level I am BEING. I am a mirror. 

I am a Luxurypreneur not only builds a successful brand, but also embodies and embraces the essence of luxury in my brand. I craft a high-end, exclusive experience for my clients while creating a lifestyle that reflects elegance, sophistication, and opulence. I prioritize quality, exceptional service, and the pursuit of beauty in every aspect of my brand and business.

Beautiful, are you afraid to show who you really are? To show up as your true, Highest Self? The person who knows who they are deeply, and what they want. 

I know so many of my beautiful clients struggled to open themselves up and show who they truly were… for fear of being judged and rejected, that disappointment that comes from not feeling good enough.

The thing is people do judge. They have opinions about you and every topic under the sun that may relate to you. And when you build your brand online, the more you show up, it is even more of it.

When you show up and create based on other peoples’ standards or values, it lack power,  excitement and authenticity. Stop seeking approval. Choose to trust yourself. You can just focus on what is true for you and for your tribe that you are serving.

Luxury is an attitude.

Luxury, more than anything else, is an attitude that sets individuals apart from the ordinary, as they embrace a refined way of thinking and a discerning taste for the finer things. 

Luxury is a state of elegance, where every detail is meticulously crafted, and every experience is curated to perfection. In the world of luxury, mediocrity has no place, and only the utmost quality and sophistication prevail. Luxury requires you to elevate your standards.
