12 years ago, I packed my bag and left a high-paying job in one of the top accounting firms in the world, a comfortable life in Shanghai … and moved to Melbourne Australia by myself.

Because I know that more is available for me. There are unique experiences just for me that I am called to have.

Running own business where I can work from wherever, whenever I desire;

Getting to work with incredible clients and feeling the joy of them creating real change and results in their brand and lifes;

Feeling beautiful, elegantly dressed, vibrant and seen as who I really am;

Speaking, writing, coaching on the inspiration of my soul that come through me;

There are dozens if not hundreds or even thousands of people who can do what you do. But there’s only one person who can do it in the way you do it with the perspective and experience you have. 

Your story is as unique to you as your thumbprint. 

Your story makes you irreplaceable. And it’s a core part of your personal brand, giving your work meaning and allowing your personal brand to grow into a movement by associating what you do with a memorable story that just begs to be shared. 

A brand’s story can do a lot of the heavy lifting for a brand. It can be the cornerstone of media coverage, it can differentiate you in a crowded market place, it can connect you to your ideal target market and attract your perfect customers to your brand.

Your brand story should connect you to your ideal customers. It should build credibility and trust.

Your brand story should elicit emotions. It should be totally true & authentic.

Your brand story should convey the relationship you will have with your clients. It should convey an outcome for them. How will they be helped by your service.

The first step in crafting your story is to outline all the key moments in your life so far -- these may be milestones in a single story or several different stories. Include major positive events, things you’re proud of and also challenges. 

For positive events, why you’re proud of them or grateful for them? For challenges, how you overcame these challenges and what you learnt from those events?

How did you feel when you recall those events? What came up for you?

Now imagine that every single thing that happened in your life happened by design, to help

you to share one powerful message. What message would it be?

That’s you unique brand story and brand message. 

When you repeat key stories and themes from your life and personality, you become memorable and real to your audience. You start to take shape for them. They form an emotional connection with you and feel like they know you. And people choose to follow and hire people they can relate to and identify with.

Your Brand is a Mirror

Your brand is a mirror. Does it reflect the luxury icon you truly are?

To move forward, first, give yourself time to pause and reflect.

To reflect is to become present to the here and now. Give yourself time to exhale.

When we reflect, we become present to who we really are — to our authentic selves.

When you are present, you are not only right here in this moment, but you can also hold the past and some of the future in your current vision.
